Festive concert by Liverpool Acoustic blending Liverpool songs, folk favourites and seasonal classics, with a 3pm matinee and an 8pm evening show.
In My Liverpool Home at Christmas comes to the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room on Saturday 5 December, with two performances on the one day: a 3pm matinee and an 8pm evening show. It's presented by Liverpool Acoustic, and the bill brings together Danny Jones, Emma Scarr, Paul Cook and 'Count' John McCormick, who'll be joined by a supporting ensemble that includes members of the Singing Our Socks Off community choir.
The show draws on the warmth, humour and community spirit of The Spinners' Christmas concerts, blending Liverpool songs, folk favourites and seasonal classics into a festive gathering. It's intended as a nod to The Spinners' legacy, while taking a fresh, contemporary look at the songs and traditions that have shaped generations of singers and listeners in the city. The programme moves from rousing choruses to tender ballads and festive singalongs, and it follows a run of sold-out shows across the series.

Having two shows on the same day means you can pick the time that suits you best—the 3pm matinee for a daytime outing or the 8pm for a proper evening out. Tickets are £18, £15 and £13 through the Liverpool Phil, so there's a few different price points to choose from. The Music Room is part of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic on Hope Street, right in the heart of the city.
