Spooky Halloween afternoon tea with seasonal scones, finger sandwiches and sweet treats, plus premium loose-leaf teas, at West Africa House.
OH ME OH MY is doing a Halloween Afternoon Tea on Saturday 31 October, from midday to 4pm, at West Africa House on Water Street. It's their usual afternoon tea with a spooky twist for the day, and it sits right in the city centre, a short walk from the Three Graces and the river.
The tea itself is built around freshly baked scones, delicate finger sandwiches and handcrafted sweet treats, paired with a wide selection of premium loose-leaf teas from LEAF, served hot or iced. For the Halloween special, they're leaning into cosy autumnal vibes with seasonal twists on the usual sweet and savoury offerings. If you're in the mood, you're welcome to turn up in spectral attire, too.
It's worth knowing how this fits into their regular run. OH ME OH MY changes its afternoon tea menu seasonally and runs themed variations throughout the year: the 'Twinkle Afternoon Tea' adds an extra touch of celebration, and the 'Disco Afternoon Tea' brings in a resident DJ for feel-good music. Both of those themed teas carry a £1 supplement per person, but the Halloween one doesn't—it's standard afternoon tea pricing, so no extra charge for the seasonal twist.
