Beginner graffiti class for all ages above six at Zap Graffiti, where participants paint their own 3x3ft poster. Classes run every day.
Zap Graffiti is running a graffiti art class every day, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. It's a two-hour session, and it's aimed at beginners, so you don't need to have ever picked up a spray can before to get involved. The whole thing is open to all ages above six, which makes it as much a family thing as a solo one.
The class runs on the first floor of Resurrection, at 27-29 Bold Street, on a rooftop terrace with views across the city. It's outside but under cover, so you're out in the air without having to worry about the weather. The session works as a team: everyone learns the basics together first, and then you move on to design and paint your own 3x3ft poster. All the materials and PPE are included, so you've just got to turn up ready to paint.
Zap Graffiti Arts has been Liverpool's street-art-focused venue since 1995, and they've spent those years getting people from all walks of life into graffiti. The class is also offered as a team-building activity or as part of a birthday party or hen do, so it works for a group as well as for individuals. They do ask that you come along in older gear, because spray paint isn't exactly forgiving if it lands on your favourite clothes.
