GOTG Pottery Painting

GOTG are hosting a pottery painting night at Frankie's Paint-It Pottery on Tuesday 17 November, from 7pm to 9pm. It's a two-hour session where you pick a piece of pottery, paint it, and leave it to be glazed and fired. The finished piece is ready to pick up two weeks later.

GOTG, or Girls on the Golpool, run weekly activities for women across Liverpool with the aim of helping them make friends. This one is open to anyone who identifies as a woman, and it's a private space for the group, so you'll be painting alongside other women rather than in the general studio. There's a maximum capacity of 28, and no GOTG representative attends, so it's just the group together.

Your ticket covers the private event, the glazing and the firing, so you don't have to worry about the technical side of things—you just focus on the painting. The pottery piece you paint is paid separately, with pottery prices ranging from £14 to £50. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and if you're coming by bus, the closest stop is on Nicander Road (the 86 and 75 both stop there), which is about a minute's walk from the studio. There's also parking on the nearby roads.
