Free women-only hour-long walk from 92 Degrees to the Christmas markets, run by Girls On The Go.
Girls On The Go are taking a group out for a Christmas markets walk on Sunday 22 November, starting at 92 Degrees on Hardman Street. It's a morning thing, running from 10:30am to 12:00, and the meeting point is wheelchair accessible.
The plan is straightforward: an hour-long stroll through the city that ends at the Christmas markets, where you can browse the stalls alongside new friends. If the weather turns properly miserable, the group meets in a coffee shop to chat instead, so it's not one of those things that gets called off just because it's raining. The walk is exclusively for anyone who identifies as a woman, with a maximum of 100 people split into small groups, which keeps it from feeling like a massive crowd.
GOTG, or Girls On The Go, runs girl-only events and run clubs across the UK with the aim of making the country less lonely for women. The Liverpool group has its own Instagram community, and this walk is one of the ways they get people together in person. It's a low-pressure way to spend a Sunday morning if you're looking to meet other women in the city.
