Friday Afternoons: Drag Karaoke is back at FunnyBoyz on Friday 30 April, running from 16:00 to 19:00. It's a drag-hosted karaoke session in the middle of the afternoon, so it's more of a late-lunch thing than a night out.
The format is exactly what it says on the tin: you get up and sing, with drag queens hosting the whole thing. It's billed as a karaoke brunch, and since it kicks off at 4pm, it's one of those sessions that sits somewhere between a proper meal and the start of the evening. If you're not the singing type, you can just watch from the side and let someone else take the mic.
FunnyBoyz is running the afternoon, and tickets are sold through Skiddle. It's a three-hour window, so there's plenty of time to get a few songs in without having to rush through them. If you're planning to sing, it's worth getting there early enough to get your name on the list before the room fills up.
