Francesco De Carlo – Live in Europe

Francesco De Carlo brings his stand-up to Blackstock Market on Friday 23 October, part of his Live in Europe tour. It's a solo hour, so it's just him on stage for the full set.

If you haven't come across him before, De Carlo is one of Italy's most established stand-up comedians, and he's billed as the first Italian comic to tour internationally in English. He's a TV host, writer and radio personality back home, and his one-hour Netflix special, Cose Di Questo Mondo, streams in 190 countries. He's hosted shows for Rai, Sky and Comedy Central, and in 2025 he starred in the prime-time TV8 series In & Out - Niente di serio.

He's spent plenty of time on the road outside Italy, too. He's performed in 17 countries and played festivals in Edinburgh, Johannesburg and Montreal, and he's a regular at New York's Comedy Cellar, where he opened for Matteo Lane at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. In 2025, he launched his first US tour, Live in America, and voiced Mr Shark in DreamWorks' The Bad Guys films. He also wrote the book La mia Brexit, published by Bompiani. His 2025 Italian Mortacci tour sold out nationwide, drawing nearly 40,000 people.

The show is at Hot Water Comedy Club within Blackstock Market, 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool L3 6ER. It starts at 21:45, with doors opening at 20:25, and runs until 22:45. A standard ticket is £25.
