Hands-on craft workshop run by Iris & Daisy Gardens to make a festive wreath from locally foraged foliage, suitable for beginners and experienced crafters.
Iris & Daisy Gardens are running a festive wreath making workshop at All Hallows C of E Church in Allerton on Wednesday 9 December, from 4 pm to 6 pm. It's a two-hour hands-on session where you make your own wreath from locally foraged foliage to hang on your door or give as a Christmas gift. The wire frames they provide can be reused year after year, so you take home both a decoration and a skill you can keep using.
They encourage you to bring along any favourite bits of foliage, seedheads, feathers, pinecones, ribbons or Christmas decorations you want to work in, so you can make yours a bit more personal. The whole thing is held indoors, with mince pies, homemade cake and hot drinks on the table, including vegan and gluten-free options. It's recommended for ages 14 and over, and the Iris & Daisy Gardens team runs it for experienced crafters and complete beginners alike, so you don't need to have ever touched a wreath before to get stuck in.
