A filthy night of drag, cabaret and music that traces Liverpool's queer history with bawdy sing-alongs, games and DJs.
EAT ME brings Horrible Herstories to District on Friday 27 November, a queer cabaret night that runs from 7:30pm through to 1:00am. It's presented in conjunction with Homotopia, and the bill pulls together a line-up of the North West's kings, queens and things.
The night is built around Liverpool's queer history, with the 'gaggy bits left in'. The show raids the city's archives to dig up a hidden past that's dirty, historical and deeply camp, and works its way through it with bawdy sing-alongs, games, life-changing prizes and DJs. It's a filthy night of drag, cabaret and ancient gossip, so it's as much about the city's queer records as it is about the performance.
On the bill are Overhead Projector AUNTIE CLIMAX, historian HRH APHRODITE I and resident hunkosaurus himbo HUNTER GATHERER. Between them they cover the drag, the cabaret and the gossip that the night is built on, and they're joined by DJs to keep things going long after the main set has finished.

Tickets are £15 and booking is required, so you'll want to sort yours in advance rather than turning up on the night. It runs from 7:30pm at District, 61 Jordan Street, L1 0BE, and doesn't wrap up until 1:00am.
