Dom Joly brings his iconic Trigger Happy TV characters and sketches to the stage for the 25th-anniversary tour, with live theatre and unexpected pranks.
Dom Joly brings Trigger Happy TV to the Music Room at the Liverpool Philharmonic on Sunday 18 October, part of a 25th-anniversary tour that runs from 9 September 2026 to 16 June 2027 across the UK. It's been twenty-five years since the show first burst onto our screens and changed the hidden-camera format with its surreal characters and pranks, and this tour marks a quarter-century of that chaos.
On stage, Joly brings back the most iconic characters and sketches from the series. You'll see the ones that stuck in everyone's head: The Giant Snail, The Traffic Warden, The Morris Dancer, The Scout, A Gang of Squirrels, and THAT Big Mobile Phone. Between the sketches, he shares behind-the-scenes stories about how they actually came together. He bills the show as live theatre with the unexpected, and there's a warning to keep your eyes open — you might find yourself starring in your own Trigger Happy TV sketch during the night.
