Stand-up show 'Pizazz' from Christopher Hall, the Background Singer, who returns to the stage with dancing, glamour and big laughs.
Christopher Hall brings his new show Pizazz to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Thursday 22 October, part of a wider tour. He bills himself as a showman, jester and attention chaser, and Pizazz draws on his younger, life-of-the-party self.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, you'll likely recognise the work. He first came to attention through the Background Singer videos he made with his sister Lizzie, and since then he's worked with Sugababes, Nasha Bedingfield, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Shania Twain. Between those and his social media, he's built up around 1.2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, and he and Lizzie co-host the Stay Hydrated podcast. The stage show is described as bursting with dancing, glamour, storytelling and big laughs, and it's picked up five stars from critics.
This isn't his first time on stage, either. He's put on several other shows, including Self Helpless, Girl For All Seasons and Work in Progress, and a review of his Fringe run called him an 'undeniable mainstream star'. Pizazz is the latest in that run, and the Liverpool date is one stop on the tour.
