A tribute show celebrating the music of Celine Dion, fronted by Lisa Harper with a live band under the musical direction of Stephen 'Stretch' Price.
Celebrating Celine comes to The Auditorium Liverpool on Friday 26 February 2027, a tribute show built around the music of Celine Dion. Lisa Harper takes the lead, starring as 'Celine', and she's backed by a live band under the musical direction of Stephen 'Stretch' Price.
The set works through Dion's greatest hits, and the big ones are in there: 'My Heart Will Go On', 'Because You Loved Me', and 'River Deep, Mountain High' are all on the list. It's a tribute show, so it's Harper and the band doing their take on those songs rather than the original recordings. The production side is a fair bit more than just a singer and a band on stage, too. There's a full live band, high-specification sound and lighting, and screen visuals running throughout the night.
It's worth keeping in mind that this is a tribute production and isn't affiliated with Celine Dion herself or her estate. The focus is on the songs rather than the person behind them, with Harper stepping into the role of 'Celine' for the evening.
