Candlelight concert by the string quartet Fever of Christmas classics, from Wham and Wet Wet Wet to The Nutcracker and Disney, at Liverpool Town Hall.
Candlelight: Christmas Classics comes to Liverpool Town Hall on Friday 18 December, with a string quartet taking the stage under the glow of candlelight. It's part of the Candlelight series, which brings live music into venues like this one, lit by candlelight rather than the usual stage lights. The Christmas Classics edition is a tribute concert that pulls from a wide range of sources: you'll hear Wham and Wet Wet Wet alongside The Nutcracker, and Disney and Dreamworks themes mixed in. The series has run in over 100 venues worldwide, with local artists performing in each city.
The performance runs for 75 minutes, and doors open 45 minutes before the start. There's no late entry, so it's worth getting there early if you're coming from across town. It's recommended for ages 8 and over, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
