Two-hour watercolour workshop with artist Andrea Stables in the Sefton Park Palm House, with all proceeds going to the venue.
Andrea Stables is leading a botanical watercolour workshop at Sefton Park Palm House on Sunday 25 October, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. It's a two-hour session held inside the Palm House itself, which is celebrating its 130th birthday this year and runs a regular calendar of community events.
Stables starts with an overview of the materials, followed by step-by-step demonstrations of composition, colour mixing and mark-making. After that, everyone works on their own painting with her on hand to guide you through it. You don't need to bring anything: all materials are supplied, so you can just turn up and get started.
Stables is a regular with Liverpool Urban Sketchers and teaches weekly painting classes at Liverpool Independent Art School. She was featured on Landscape Artist of the Year 2025 and exhibits her work widely.

Every pound goes to the Palm House, so the morning works as a fundraiser for the venue. It's a donate-what-you-can-afford session, with a recommended donation of £15. The workshop runs from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Sefton Park Palm House, Sefton Park, Liverpool L17 1AP.
