An evening with Amy Twigg

Amy Twigg is coming to Linghams Bookstore in Liverpool on Wednesday 27 January 2027. It's an evening with her as the sole feature, and the whole thing kicks off at 7pm.

If you're not already familiar, Twigg is a writer and poet whose work often finds its way into the quieter, more reflective corners of the literary scene. This is a bookstore event, so it's a night built around the written word rather than a stage show. The evening is billed simply as An evening with Amy Twigg, and she's the only name on the bill, which means the focus stays on her work and her voice throughout.

Having a single feature like this changes the feel of the night. Instead of a shared bill where a few different writers each take a slot, this is a full evening dedicated to one person's writing. It's the kind of setup that lets a writer move through different pieces of work without having to rush for the next act, and it gives the audience a proper look at a single body of writing rather than a snapshot of several.

It's happening at Linghams Bookstore, so you'll be in a room surrounded by books, which fits the mood of a poetry evening. The date is Wednesday 27 January 2027, and it starts at 7pm. Tickets are from £11.00.
