ABBA Cocktail Making Experience | Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

DYSCO Liverpool is hosting the ABBA Cocktail Making Experience on Friday 30 October, a themed cocktail masterclass run to an ABBA soundtrack and fronted by a drag entertainer. It's a session that mixes cocktail-making demonstrations with group activities, and the guest of honour gets to create and name their own drink, with Baby Guinness shots to round things off. It's not a bottomless drinks package: the cocktails and shots are served as part of the hosted activities, and any additional drinks you want are available to purchase separately.

They're encouraging everyone to turn up in ABBA-inspired outfits — think sequins, flares and platform boots — and a group photo closes the experience. The whole thing is set to an ABBA soundtrack, so the music runs through the session as much as the drinks do. It's a hosted class rather than a drink-your-own-way afternoon, with the drag host leading the demonstrations and the group challenges in between.

It runs on Friday 30 October from 16:00 and lasts about an hour, so it's a late-afternoon thing rather than a full evening. Tickets start from £25, and you'll find it at DYSCO Liverpool, 27 Stanley Street, L1 6AA.
