FunnyBoyz Hosts Daytime Dysco

FunnyBoyz are back with Daytime Disco at DYSCO on Saturday 7 November, part of their weekly Saturday series that runs from 2pm to 8pm. They bill it as 'Liverpool's No.1 Daytime Disco', and the whole thing is built around bringing the 90s and 00s back to the city, so if those are your decades, you'll find plenty to hold onto.

It's not just a DJ set. The afternoon is filled with drag queens, live cabaret performances, top DJs, go-go dancers and mascots, all running together rather than as separate acts. The music stays firmly in that 90s and 00s territory, and the cabaret and drag are built around it, so it's a long stretch of the same energy from start to finish. Because it's a weekly thing, it's more of a regular fixture than a one-off, and it runs right through the afternoon, finishing at 8pm when most nights are only just getting started.

There are a few ways to do it. Entry on its own is £5, which gets you in the door. If you're going with a group, there's a VIP package for £15 that includes a booth and Prosecco. And for those who want to lean into the 'daytime' part of the disco, the Bottomless Booze Up is £21 for 90 minutes of unlimited fizz. The drinks on that include draught lager and cider, red, white and rosé wine, Prosecco and a range of house spirits and cocktails, so you can pick your poison and stick with it.

DYSCO is at 27 Stanley Street, Liverpool L1 6AA, and it kicks off at 2pm. Between the cabaret, the drag, the DJs and the bottomless drinks, it's a full afternoon's affair that wraps up by 8pm, leaving you with the whole evening still ahead of you.
