Free family-friendly arts and crafts sessions run by Liverpool Cathedral's Education team for children and adults during the school holidays.
Liverpool Cathedral is running a series of family activities throughout the October half term, with sessions starting on Monday 26 October at 11:00. They're not just one-off things, either — there are multiple dates available across the break, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule best.
The sessions are run by the cathedral's Education team and are set up as family-friendly arts and crafts activities for children and their grown-ups to get creative together. Each one is hands-on and lasts around 45 minutes, which is a decent length for keeping younger ones focused without it dragging on too long. It's designed as something you do alongside your kids rather than just dropping them off, so you'll be getting stuck in with the making as well.
Since the sessions are relatively short, there's plenty of time to make a proper morning or afternoon of it. You can wander around the cathedral building before or after your slot, and if you're hungry, The Welsford Bistro is on-site for a bit of lunch. If you're driving in, just keep in mind that parking at the cathedral is paid.

Booking is essential, and everyone attending — adults and children alike — needs their own ticket. The sessions are free, so as long as you've got your spots sorted in advance, it's a low-cost way to keep the kids occupied over the half term.
