Screening of Nathan Fielder's documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes at Hyde Park Picture House.
You Can See Everything is showing at Hyde Park Picture House on Friday 20 November, with screenings at 16:00 and 19:40 (times to be confirmed). It's a documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim about Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of Theranos.
Filming began in 2023, and it follows Fielder as he moves into Holmes' home with her husband, Billy Evans, and their children for the 34 days leading up to her prison sentence. What started as a conventional documentary grew into a three-year journey into the abyss of Holmes' world. It's distributed by A24, set in the USA, and runs 2 hours and 54 minutes.
The reception has been strong. The Guardian called it 'a modern masterpiece of deceit', and The New York Times described it as 'a sharp, self-reflexive inquiry into the seduction of celebrity, the nature of truth and the complexities of documentary cinema itself'.
