This Is How It Feels: An Intimate Evening with Inspiral Carpets' Clint Boon

Clint Boon is playing City Varieties Music Hall on Wednesday 22 September 2027. It's an evening presented by A Way With Media Productions Limited, and it's billed as This Is How It Feels: An Intimate Evening with Inspiral Carpets' Clint Boon.

Boon was the Farfisa organ icon and the driving creative force behind Inspiral Carpets, the Madchester band whose anthems This Is How It Feels and Saturn 5 helped soundtrack a generation. He's also got a bit of a claim to fame before the big one: he hired a young Noel Gallagher as the band's roadie before Oasis took over the world.

The night mixes stripped-back musical moments with funny anecdotes and candid, untold stories from across his career, including his years touring the world and hosting radio shows. It's also billed to include plenty of 'Moo!' moments. It's suitable for all ages, though parental guidance is recommended.

Tickets are £30, which includes a £2.50 booking fee. If you want more, there are Meet and Greet packages from £74pp, non-Meet and Greet VIP packages from £44pp, and boxes at £47pp — all of those you'll need to sort by calling the Box Office on 0113 243 0808. The show starts at 7:30pm and runs for about an hour and fifty minutes, including an interval.
