Award-winning magician Ben Hart brings his new show, described as his most astonishing and impossible yet, to Carriageworks Theatre.
Ben Hart brings The Remarkable Ben Hart to Carriageworks Theatre on Friday 23 October, 7.30pm. It's a brand-new show he describes as his most astonishing and impossible yet, following a run of sold-out dates around the world.
Hart is a multi-award-winning magician, and the way he works is a bit different from the usual stage magic. He's described as a unique voice in the field, mixing storytelling and wit with a bit of a dark edge. He reads minds, manipulates the fabric of existence and bends logic to his will using nothing but his hands, a few simple objects and what he calls his newly discovered uncanny mental abilities. There are no camera tricks and nowhere to hide, so everything happens right in front of you.
He's not a newcomer to the stage. He's played the West End and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has appeared on Britain's Got Talent, The One Show, Killer Magic and BBC's Life Hacks. Beyond his own shows, he works as a magic consultant for major Hollywood movies, and has coached Tom Cruise, Rami Malek and Russell Crowe. This new show is his latest outing, and it's the one he's calling his most challenging to date.
