The Giant Bubble Show

The Giant Bubble Show comes to City Varieties Music Hall on Sunday 25 October, with the performance starting at 11:00am and running for about an hour. It's presented by Bubble Inc. Limited, led by Samsam Bubbleman and his team of self-styled Bubbleologists.

The show is built around audience interaction as much as the tricks themselves. You'll see square bubbles, caterpillar bubbles and the tiniest bubbles in the world, alongside giant bubble displays set to music. Lucky audience members are picked to stand inside one of those giant bubbles, so if you're going with kids, they're just as likely to be part of the act as they are to watch it. It's recommended for all ages, though parental guidance is advised, and the room fills with smoke, haze and a bubble machine throughout.

There's a fair bit of history behind it, too. Bubble Inc. Limited has been perfecting the art of bubbles for more than 20 years, and along the way they've collected 12 Guinness World records. They've also grown the world's biggest bubble toy shop and performed to millions of people around the globe, so this isn't a first-time effort.

Tickets are £16, which includes a £2.50 booking fee. If you're after a box, those are £19 per person and available by calling the Box Office on 0113 243 0808. It's a Sunday morning slot, so it works well for a family outing before the rest of the day takes over.
