A family-friendly screening of the Aardman stop-motion animated film, part of the venue's Spooky Season.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom screens at Hyde Park Picture House on Friday 23 October at 11:00. It's an Aardman stop-motion animated film that follows the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm, who are looking forward to Halloween until the clumsy Farmer trashes the flock's beloved pumpkin patch. When Shaun turns into a mad scientist to fix the problem, things spiral out of control: the Farmer goes missing, a wild beast starts roaming the woods of Mossingham, and the story turns into a monstrously fun family adventure.
The screening is part of the cinema's 'Spooky Season', an eclectic mix of Halloween favourites that runs from mini thrills for the youngest audiences to late-night scares for ardent horror fans. It's a good way to get the kids into the spirit of the season without anything too frightening. The cinema also programmes accessible screenings, including toddler-friendly, autism-friendly, audio-described, captioned and 'Pay What You Can' sessions, and invites the public to become members for free tickets, discounts and priority booking.
