Stand-up show by Rob Auton about his time as an estate agent on the planet Jupiter, following his sell-out 2025-26 tour.
Rob Auton brings Jupiter to City Varieties Music Hall on Friday 9 April 2027, part of his return to UK stages after a sell-out nationwide tour in 2025-26. He describes the show as his thirteenth hour.
The premise is a piece of fiction: the story of a time when Auton worked as an estate agent on the planet Jupiter. It's a stand-up show built around that one absurd image, and it's the same material he's been touring across the country over the last couple of years.
If you haven't come across him before, Auton is a multi-award-winning writer, performer, podcaster and actor. On screen he's worked opposite Danny Dyer in Marching Powder, and appeared in Channel 4's The Change and the BBC's Starstruck, with further credits including Miracle Workers (TBS), The End of the Fing World (Netflix/Channel 4), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Cold Feet (ITV) and Random Acts (Channel 4). He's also a two-time British Podcast Awards Gold winner for The Rob Auton Daily Podcast*. The Guardian described him as 'a genuine original, philosophical, humane and funny to boot'.
