Myra DuBois: Siren

Myra DuBois brings her new show, Siren, to the City Varieties Music Hall on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2027, both nights starting at 7:30pm. It's a concert show of laughter and song, and it's part of her Myras tour.

DuBois is a Rotherham actress and cabaret star who calls herself the 'siren from South Yorkshire'. She first made a name for herself with viral clips of her shows, then moved into the West End as 'Ruth' in Titanique, and more recently took a sell-out tour of Australia. Siren is her latest show, which she describes as her most spectacular yet, built around a full cast and her razor-sharp crowd work. She's appeared on Britain's Got Talent, The John Bishop Show, Big Brother's Bit on the Side, Pointless Celebrities, The Weakest Link, Richard Osman's House of Games and Queens For The Night, and she's in the film Everyone's Talking About Jamie. Graham Norton called her 'bust a gut funny', and TimeOut London described her as 'acid-tongued, funny to the bone'.

She won't be on her own for this one. Joining her on stage are the all-dancing Fabulous Myrettes and her sister, Rose Lavender. The costumes come from House of Flying Stitches, the choreography is by David Allwood, and the whole thing is written and directed by Gareth Joyner. With a full cast and a focus on crowd work, it's a proper cabaret night rather than a stand-up set.

Tickets are £34, and the show runs at the City Varieties Music Hall on Swan Street, Leeds, LS1 6LW, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2027, 7:30pm.
