Open-to-all romantasy book club session on 'Once Upon a Broken Heart' by Stephanie Garber, presented by Aimee Missen.
Blades & Babes returns to Hyde Park Book Club on Sunday 1 November, with the November session running from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in The Snug. The book on the table this time is Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber, and the session is led by Aimee Missen.
If you're not familiar, Blades & Babes is an open-to-all romantasy book club run by Missen, and it's open to everyone regardless of how much you know about the genre. The whole point is to get together and chat about the characters, the tropes, your favourite moments, and that particular romantic tension that drives romantasy stories. This particular session is set in a dreamy fairytale world of magic, forbidden bargains, and dangerous princes, so it's a good fit for the book.
One thing to keep in mind is that you'll need to source your own copy of Once Upon a Broken Heart before the meet-up, rather than picking one up on the day. If you're coming along for the morning, drinks and food are available to buy at the venue, and Hyde Park Book Club aims to be accessible to all.

It's a Sunday morning slot, so it works as a low-key way to start the day with a bit of reading and conversation. The session runs from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at The Snug, inside Hyde Park Book Club at 27-29 Headingley Lane, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 1BL, and tickets are £6.
