Midnight launch of the seventh book in Sarah J. Maas's 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' series at Waterstones Leeds, with themed activities and a costume prize.
Waterstones Leeds is hosting a midnight launch for the seventh book in Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series on Monday 11 January 2027. It runs from 9:30 PM until 11:59 PM at the shop on Albion Street, LS1 5JS, so it's a late one that takes you right up to the moment the book actually comes out.
The night is built around themed activities and goodies, with the clock ticking down to midnight. Once it strikes twelve, you can buy a copy of the book and take it home. It's a countdown event, so the whole thing is about the wait rather than just popping in to pick up a copy.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Leeds and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

There's a costume element to it too: fans are encouraged to turn up in outfits inspired by the series, and there's a prize for the best one. If you've got a particular character in mind, this is the night to bring them to life. Just a couple of practical things to keep in mind: anyone under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult, and Sarah J. Maas won't be attending, so it's a fan-led celebration rather than a signing. If you're planning on going, the timings are 9:30 PM to 11:59 PM on Monday 11 January at Waterstones Leeds, Albion Street.
