Early learning program for young children about bears at the Indianapolis Zoo, with repeat sessions through December.
Wild Wonders Early Learning Program: Bears kicks off at the Indianapolis Zoo on Thursday, November 5, and it's one of those things that's built for the little ones. The session runs from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, and if that first date doesn't work for you, it repeats on select dates from November 5 through December 10, so you've got a few weeks to fit it into your schedule.
As the title suggests, the whole program is focused on bears. It's part of the zoo's early learning series, which means it's designed for young children to get a closer look at animals they might only know from books or screens. Instead of just walking past the exhibits, this is a dedicated session where the focus stays on bears for the full ninety minutes. It's the kind of thing that works best when you've got a kid who's already obsessed with animals and wants to know everything about how they live and what they do.

Because it's an early learning program, it's set up for a parent and a child to do together. The price covers one child and one adult: $22.50 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Since it runs on select dates through mid-December, you can pick the morning that fits your routine best. It's a morning activity, so you're in and out by 11:30 AM, which leaves the rest of the day open. If you're already a zoo member, the member price makes it an easy add-on to a regular visit.
