Fundraising walk held on the lawn of the Indiana State Museum to raise money for lupus research and awareness.
Walk to End Lupus Now takes place at the Indiana State Museum on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. It's a fundraising walk that starts on the museum's lawn at 650 West Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis.
The walk is staged in partnership with the Lupus Foundation of America, and it's part of a much larger effort. Thousands of people participate across nearly 60 cities nationwide, all walking to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of the disease, and show support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans living with it. The Indianapolis walk brings together people affected by lupus and their families to rally around that single purpose: ending the disease.
