Monthly 90-minute early childhood session with sensory play, STEM activities and music for children aged 18 months to 6 years and their caregivers.
Stay and Play is back at the Indiana State Museum on Saturday, October 24, from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. It's an early childhood learning program held in Firefly Landing, the museum's dedicated space for the little ones, and this session is for children aged 18 months to 6 years and their caregivers.
Each 90-minute session is built around sensory experiences and STEM activities. The kids get to experiment with new things and even make music, and the activities change every time, so there's something fresh to come back to. The museum also provides caregiver resources with each session, which is a nice touch if you're looking for ways to keep the learning going at home.
It's a caregiver-led experience, so children must be accompanied by an adult. You'll need a separate ticket for the child, and that ticket includes museum admission, so you can stick around and explore the rest of the building after the session wraps up. If you're planning to make a habit of it, there's another session on November 21, also from 10:30 AM to 12 PM.
