LGBTQ+ book club session at Fort Ben Branch discussing 'Cemetery Boys' by Aiden Thomas, with ASL interpretation.
Rainbow Reads is back at the Fort Ben Branch on Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This session is centered on Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, and it's presented in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library Latin Culture Committee.
Rainbow Reads is the library's LGBTQ+ book club, run by the Indy PL LGBTQ+ Committee. The whole series highlights LGBTQ+ authors and stories, and it's designed as a safe, inclusive space to gather and talk books. It runs across several Indy PL branches, with each session focusing on a different title, and ASL interpretation is provided for every meeting. Registration isn't required, though you can sign up if you want email reminders.
If you're planning to join the conversation, there are two ways to get the book. You can borrow Cemetery Boys from any Indy PL location, or if you'd rather buy your own copy, the library's partner, Loudmouth Books, gives book club members a 15% discount with the code 'BOOKCLUB'.

The host branch, Fort Ben, has a couple of things that make it worth knowing before you head over. It was the first library branch in Indiana to become a Certified Autism Center, and its rooftop solar system provides 80% of the building's electricity. It's at 9330 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216. The discussion runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 10.
