Hands-on children's workshop for preschoolers held at the Wayne Branch Library.
Little Sprouts is back at the Wayne Branch Library on Friday, November 6, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM. It's a hands-on workshop for preschoolers, so it's one of those things you bring your little ones to rather than go to on your own. The whole session runs for 45 minutes, which is about the right length for that age group.
If you haven't spent much time there, the Wayne Branch is at 7341 Rockville Road. It's been a part of the neighborhood for a long timeโit first opened in December 1969 in a shopping center on Rockville Road, and moved into its own permanent 13,500-square-foot building in 1984, where it's stayed ever since. A $1.1 million renovation in 2020 added more seating, activity space, study rooms, and a quiet reading area, and it kept the split design with separate children's and adult wings. The children's wing is where you'll find Little Sprouts.

Behind the scenes, the program is made possible by the Everwise Foundation through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. It's a free session, so you just need to show up with your preschooler on Friday afternoon. The workshop runs from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wayne Branch Library, 7341 Rockville Road.
