Free LEGO block party for children five and older at the Nora Branch, with space for the first 20 participants.
The Nora Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library is hosting a Lego Block Party on Monday, November 16, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a drop-in session for kids to build with LEGOs, blocks, and other kid-friendly materials in the branch community room. There's no registration required, but space is limited to the first 20 participants, so it's a first-come, first-served situation.
If you're bringing a younger child, keep a couple of things in mind: everyone needs to be at least five years old to join in, and kids under 12 have to be accompanied by an adult. The whole thing is free.
The Nora Branch itself is on North Guilford Avenue in suburban Washington Township. It opened in 1971 and was expanded to 18,500 square feet in 1990. The building sits on a 2.56-acre lot donated by Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Eiteljorg back in 1968, so it's got a bit of local history behind it.

If you're planning to go, it's worth remembering that the 20-person cap means it could fill up before the session ends. The party runs from 6 PM to 7:30 PM on Monday, November 16, at the Nora Branch, 8625 Guilford Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
