Lakeshore Learning: Mosaic Masterpiece

Lakeshore Learning is hosting its Mosaic Masterpiece craft day on Saturday, November 7, at their store in Nora Plaza. It's a free activity for kids ages 3 and up, so if you've got a little one who likes to make things, this is a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday morning or afternoon. The craft is a mosaic, which is a great project for that age group—lots of small pieces to arrange and glue, and it's the kind of thing they can actually finish and take home.

One of the best parts is that it's free. You don't have to worry about a ticket or a fee; you just show up with your kid and they get to make something. Since it's open to anyone 3 and up, it works for toddlers and older kids alike, so if you have siblings of different ages, they can both get involved at the same time. It's a simple, hands-on project that lets them focus on creating something from scratch rather than just playing with a toy.

The store is located in Nora Plaza, which is a convenient spot to hit if you're already out running errands on a Saturday. It's a drop-in style event, so you don't need to commit your whole day—you can swing by whenever it fits your schedule. If you're looking for a way to keep the kids busy for an hour or two without spending a dime, this is a solid option.

Mosaic Masterpiece runs from 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, November 7, at the Lakeshore Learning Store in Nora Plaza. It's free for kids ages 3 and up.
