Jo Koy: Koy Meets World

Jo Koy brings his Koy Meets World tour to Clowes Memorial Hall on Friday, April 9, 2027, at 8 PM. It's a stand-up set from one of the biggest names in comedy right now, and for those who haven't kept up, he's a Seattle native of Filipino-American descent who built his following on stories about his colorful family, cultural observations, and impressions of his mother.

He's a heavy hitter on the touring circuit. According to Pollstar and Billboard, he consistently ranks among the top ten grossing stand-up comedians each year. In 2024, he became the first comedian to sell out six shows at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles. He's also sold out Madison Square Garden, the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, and the Tacoma Dome, and has filled arenas worldwide, including London's O2, Sydney's ICC Theatre, and the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Beyond the stage, he's worked his way into film and television. Steven Spielberg discovered his Netflix special Comin' in Hot, and Koy starred in the 2022 Universal Pictures comedy Easter Sunday, the first major studio film with an all-Filipino cast. He's released seven specials across Comedy Central and Netflix, voiced the Monkey King in The Tiger's Apprentice, and wrote the autobiography Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo.

The show is at Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University, 4602 Sunset Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, in the Broad Ripple area. It starts at 8 PM on Friday, April 9, 2027.
