Hands-on self-care workshop with Brittany Wayman of Soul Care Coaching on how soul care connects to mental, emotional and physical well-being, aimed at seniors and adults.
Brittany Wayman of Soul Care Coaching leads a hands-on workshop at the Lawrence Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Saturday, November 7, from 2 PM to 4 PM. The session is called Intro to Soul Care, and it's aimed at seniors and adults.
During the two hours, Wayman walks through how soul care connects to mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It's not just a talkโyou'll try simple practices for tending to your inner life and leave with practical tools to work into your daily rhythms. The whole thing is made possible by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Library staff are rounding out the afternoon with a supporting book list for anyone who wants to keep reading on their own. It includes Empowered Wellness: Black Health & Healing, Mindfulness, Self Care, and Life Kit, You are Worth It: Rest as a Form of Resistance, and BIG FEELINGS.
