Intermissions Plaza Art Pop-Up + Concert Series

The Intermissions Plaza Art Pop-Up + Concert Series is wrapping up its run at Intermissions Plaza on Saturday, October 31, the final date of a series that has been running every last Saturday of the month since July. It's a multi-disciplinary thing, which is a fancy way of saying it brings together music, visual art, dance, and theatre all in one spot rather than just one or the other.

Beyond the performances, there's a whole set of activity tables to move through. You'll find Try This Instruments, Repurposed Mobiles, Make a Shaker, Identify the Spice, Positive Bingo, Ribbons, and Costume and Selfies. It's the kind of setup where you can hang out and do something with your hands while the music is going on, and the whole thing is built as a family-friendly format. The program is put together to represent a variety of cultures and styles, so it's not just one sound or one tradition taking over the evening.

Since this is the last one of the season, it's the final chance to catch it before the series goes on hiatus. It runs from 6 PM to 8 PM, and it's free for everyone to attend. If you've been meaning to check it out all summer, this is the one to hit.
