International percussion convention featuring concerts, workshops, and an expo hall with over 100 music brands, including a headlining performance by Sheila E.
PASIC 2026 returns to the Indiana Convention Center from Wednesday, November 11 through Saturday, November 14. It's the Percussive Arts Society's international convention, and it's a big one—the society describes it as the largest event of its kind in the world, focused entirely on drums and percussion across all genres and ages. They call it 'The Greatest 4 Days in Drums & Percussion,' and it works as part music festival, part educational conference, part networking event, and part Expo Hall. The convention has been held here every November since the society moved its international offices to Indianapolis in 2009, with only 2012 and 2015 as exceptions, so it's become a bit of a local tradition. Executive Director Joshua Simonds says keeping it in one city lets the organization lock in multi-year contracts and pass those savings on to attendees and exhibitors.
The evening concerts run throughout the four days. Wednesday opens with Joy Lapps and Larnell Lewis. Thursday features Taiwan's Ju Percussion Group celebrating their 40th anniversary. Friday brings Michael Burritt and the Burritt Percussion Group with guests Eriko Daimo and Ivan Trevino. Saturday closes with Sheila E. On the drumset side, Steve Gadd, Todd Sucherman, Jim Riley, and J-Rod Sullivan are on the bill, and marching percussion ensembles like the West Point Hellcats and Boston Crusaders will be there too. The Arcomusical sextet—Gregory Beyer, Ethan Martin, Raychel Taylor, Noel Streacker, Matt Schneider, and Elena Ross—plays with guest Krissy Bergmark on Thursday, November 12, from 5 to 6 PM.

Beyond the stage, the Expo Hall brings together more than 100 music brands, and new releases often debut here first. The city also houses the society's Rhythm! Discovery Center, which USA Today named one of the top 20 unique attractions in the U.S. Attendance is forecast at 5,200. Single tickets for the Saturday Sheila E. concert are $30, and Expo Hall-only badges are $20 for Indiana residents. The convention runs from 12 PM to 8 PM daily at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue, downtown.
