Screening of award-winning shorts from the 2026 Indy Shorts Film Festival, presented by Heartland Film as part of the Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts.
Heartland Film is bringing a curated selection of award-winning shorts to the Indy Art Center on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 7 to 9 PM. The films are pulled from the 2026 Indy Shorts Film Festival, so it's a way to catch some of the festival's best short-form work in one sitting rather than hunting them down individually.
The screening is part of two different series running at the same time. It falls under the 28th Annual Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts, which brings together a wide range of literary and artistic events across the city, and it's also one of the Theatre Nights at Indy Art Center, a series presented by the Herbert Simon Family Foundation. The two festivals overlap here, with Heartland Film handling the curation of the shorts.
