Dungeons & Dragons for Teens

Dungeons & Dragons for Teens is happening at the Lawrence Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Tuesday, October 27, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a dedicated D&D session aimed at teens, so if you've got a younger person in your life who's into tabletop gaming, this is a good one to keep on the radar.

One of the best things about this particular session is that you don't need to bring your own gear. The library provides the game materials and the dice, so you can just show up and play without worrying about whether you have the right set of polyhedrals or a character sheet ready to go. The only thing they ask you to bring is your imagination, which is pretty much the whole point of the game anyway. If you've never played before, this is a low-stakes way to get into it—you don't need to know the rules by heart to jump in.

Registration is recommended, though walk-ins are welcome, so if you're planning on going, it's worth signing up ahead of time to make sure there's a spot for you. The session runs for two and a half hours, which is plenty of time to get a decent quest going and see where the story takes you.

As for the venue, the Lawrence Branch is at 7898 Hague Road in Indianapolis. It's a part of the Indianapolis Public Library system, and this session is specifically for teens. It runs Tuesday, October 27, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.
