A craft session for families and children at the Garfield Park Arts Center.
Arts for All is back at the Garfield Park Arts Center this Saturday, October 17, for another craft session. It's one of those things that runs on Saturdays, so if you missed the last one, this is your next chance to get in on it.
The session is a craft-focused afternoon, the kind of thing where you show up and spend a few hours working with your hands. It's held at the Garfield Park Arts Center, right in the middle of the park, and it's open to anyone who wants to spend a Saturday afternoon making something. If you've been looking for a way to get into crafting without having to set up a whole studio at home, this is a good place to start.
It runs from noon to 5 PM, which gives you a solid five-hour window to work. You can drop in and stay for the whole stretch or just a part of it, and since it's on a Saturday, it fits into a weekend without taking over your whole day. The session is open to all ages and skill levels, so it doesn't matter if you've never picked up a craft tool in your life or if you've been making things for years.
