Children's art session for ages 3 to 6 in which they create a masterpiece with clay and other materials, inspired by picture books.
Art Adventures comes to the Martindale-Brightwood Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Saturday, November 14, from 3 PM to 3:45 PM. It's a hands-on session for kids ages 3 to 6, and the whole thing is led by Jeremy South of Ripple Mobile Arts.
The idea is simple: the kids get to make their own masterpiece working with clay and other materials. The session is built around art inspired by picture books, so the storytelling and the making go hand in hand. It's a short window—forty-five minutes—which is about the right length for that age group to dive in and finish something without losing focus.
Registration opens on Saturday, October 31, so you'll want to mark that date if you're planning to bring your little ones. The program is made possible by the Everwise Foundation through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
