The Lemon Twigs perform their album 'Look For Your Mind!' live at The Heights Theater, with support from Brute Force, The Smashing Times and Zack Keim.
The Lemon Twigs play The Heights Theater on Saturday, December 19, as part of a US tour they announced back in March. They're touring their third album, Look For Your Mind!, and they've brought along Brute Force, The Smashing Times, and Zack Keim to open the bill.
If you're not familiar with the setup, The Lemon Twigs are the studio project of brothers Michael and Brian D'Addario. They write and record together and handle every stage of production themselves. Their sound is guitar-driven harmony pop that looks back to the golden age of the genre, and their first two Captured Tracks albums, Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), marked a new era for the duo.
Look For Your Mind! expands the lineup. On the record, they're joined by drummer Reza Matin and bassist Danny Ayala, along with Eva Chambers of Tchotchke, who also signed the album's artwork, photography, and design. When it comes to the drumming, the brothers have cited Jody Stephens of Big Star, Jim Bonfanti of The Raspberries, and Bev Bevan of The Move as influences.
