Sawyer Hill performs his album Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy live at The Heights Theater, with special guest Never Ending Fall.
Sawyer Hill brings his Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy tour to The Heights Theater on Wednesday, October 28, with Never Ending Fall opening the bill. The set is built around the new album, which Hill describes as a guiding presence for the loners and the doubters, and for the Southern kid who doesn't understand why he should shut up about his feelings.
Hill's path to these stages started in Arkansas, where he cut his teeth playing bars as a teenager, sneaking in through the back door to dodge bouncers. He eventually graduated to national stages on the strength of his breakthrough single "Look at the Time," which has racked up more than 130 million streams and nearly a quarter billion video views. From there, he left Arkansas to tour the United States and Europe, playing sold-out shows at Los Angeles's Troubadour and New York's Bowery Ballroom, and supporting Yungblud on the road — an experience that helped shape the sound of this new record.
Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy was made with a circle of Los Angeles collaborators: Mike Crossey, who has worked with The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys; Chris Greatti, known for his work with Poppy and Yungblud; and Ryan Linville, who has produced for Olivia Rodrigo and Dermot Kennedy. The Heights Theater, an iconic venue built in the 1920s, was renovated and reopened in 2016 as a live music space, and it's where Hill will perform the album live.
