Anthony Award-winning author S.A. Cosby in conversation with Abby Dunn, creator of Crime by the Book.
S.A. Cosby is coming to Murder by the Book on Friday, October 16, for a conversation with Abby Dunn. It's a crime-fiction night in the middle of the city, and if you've been keeping up with the genre lately, you've likely come across his name. Cosby is an Anthony Award-winning writer from Southeastern Virginia, and he's built a reputation for hard-hitting crime fiction that doesn't shy away from the grit.
He's the author of the New York Times bestsellers All the Sinners Bleed and Razorblade Tears, and his earlier work Blacktop Wasteland took home the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and made the best-of-the-year lists for NPR, The Guardian, and Library Journal. When he's not writing, he's an avid hiker and chess player.
He won't be going it alone on stage. He'll be in conversation with Abby Dunn, who runs Crime by the Book, a crime-fiction-focused Instagram account and website. By day, she works as Associate Director of Publicity & Marketing for Poisoned Pen Press. The evening is organized by Murder by the Book, the bookstore that's hosting the whole thing.
