18+ Día de los Muertos lucha libre showcase with five matches, where catrinas and máscaras meet, with drinks at El Tiempo Cantina.
Manchild and POST are bringing lucha libre to the X Atrium on Sunday, November 1, with Cinco Luchas, a Día de los Muertos wrestling showcase. The name gives it away: there are five matches on the card, so you'll get a full slate of bouts rather than just one or two. The whole thing is built around Día de los Muertos, and that theme carries through the night—the organizers describe it as a meeting of catrinas and máscaras in the atrium.
It's a party as much as a wrestling show. El Tiempo Cantina will be on-site serving bites and margaritas, so you can eat and drink while the matches happen. The organizers are also encouraging people to come dressed for the occasion—face paint, máscaras, or wrestling tights are all welcome, so if you've been looking for an excuse to go all out with the costume, this is a good one.

There are a couple of practical things to keep in mind before you head over. It's an 18+ event, and you have to be 21+ to drink, so make sure you've got your ID on you. The action kicks off at 5 PM at the X Atrium inside POST Houston, and with five matches on the bill, you'll be there for a while. If you're planning on margaritas, you'll want to arrive early enough to get settled before the first bell.
