Scottish stand-up comedian Daniel Sloss brings his solo show 'Bitter' to the Bayou Music Center.
Daniel Sloss brings his latest solo show, Bitter, to the Bayou Music Center on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 PM. It's his 13th solo production, and it's part of a brand new tour that's taking him across the country.
If you're not already familiar, Sloss is a Scottish comedian, actor, and writer who's been working since he was a teenager. He started writing and performing in 2007 after his mother met comedian Frankie Boyle at a conference; Boyle gave him early access to the comedy circuit, and Sloss made his Edinburgh Fringe stand-up debut in 2008 at 17. Since then, his shows have traveled through 55 countries and nine New York off-Broadway seasons, and he's appeared ten times on Conan.
His Netflix specials give a good sense of where he comes from. DARK and Jigsaw, both from 2018, cover the death of his sister, Josie, and the complexities of relationships. 2019's Daniel Sloss: X takes on gender expectations, toxic masculinity, and the sexual assault of a close friend. More recent releases include SOCIO in 2022, HUBRiS in 2024, and CAN'T, which came out in December 2025. Bitter is the next chapter in that sequence.
