They Might Be Giants perform live with an eight-piece band and horn section at The Heights Theater, featuring two sets spanning their entire career.
They Might Be Giants are playing The Heights Theater on Tuesday, November 10, as the first of two nights in Houston. They're touring with an eight-piece band that includes a three-piece horn section, and they've billed the show as "An Evening with," which means they're the only act on the bill.
Each night is built as two sets. The first spotlights a single album, and the second draws from every era of their career—from the early Dial-A-Song days and the platinum Flood to their 2026 releases, including the stand-alone EP Eyeball and the new album The World Is to Dig. The band is known for spontaneous, sprawling musical improvisations and for getting loud, and they've described their live shows as having grown into this eight-piece lineup over time.
A second night follows on Wednesday, November 11, with two unique second sets prepared across the two dates, so the two shows won't be the same. The venue limits admission to ages 16 and up.
