Free outdoor market with vintage, leather goods and jewelry at Turkey Bend on Buffalo Bayou.
Another Fall Market is happening at Turkey Bend on Sunday, October 25, from 2 PM to 5 PM. It's a small-scale market with a few specific things to look for: vintage finds, leather goods, and jewelry. There will also be live portraits being done on-site, so you can watch an artist work in person rather than just seeing the finished piece.
The venue is Turkey Bend, located at 5803 Navigation Blvd on Buffalo Bayou. If you've never been, it's a former barge terminal that sits right where the bayou meets Navigation Boulevard. The site dates back to 1937, so it's a piece of old Houston industrial history that's been turned into a public space. It's a good spot to wander around if you're already in the area.

Between the vintage, the leather, and the jewelry, there's enough variety to make a full afternoon of it, and the live portraits add a bit of a performance element to the mix. It's a free event, so you can just drop in whenever you're nearby. It runs from 2 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, October 25, at Turkey Bend, 5803 Navigation Blvd.
