The Trews

The Trews are playing two nights at The Marquee Ballroom on December 11 and 12, 2026. They're one of Canada's most successful rock bands of the last decade, and they'll be sharing the stage with a support act that's still to be announced.

If you've followed them since the beginning, you'll remember House Of Ill Fame, the 2003 debut that pulled from rock, pop, punk and metal. The single "Not Ready to Go" became a staple on Canadian radio, and since then they've put out 20 Top 10 rock radio singles, three of which hit number one, along with several Gold and Platinum-certified albums. They've spent years opening for the likes of the Rolling Stones, KISS, Robert Plant, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Weezer, Mumford & Sons, Bruce Springsteen and Switchfoot.

Their latest album, The Bloody Light, came out on October 24, 2025, so these shows fall well within its cycle. The band is fronted by Colin MacDonald on vocals and guitar, with John-Angus MacDonald on guitar, Jack Syperek on bass, Theodore Mckibbon on drums and Jeff Heisholt on keys. The Marquee Ballroom, at 2037 Gottingen St, is one of the premier venues on Canada's east coast, with a capacity of 750.

Doors open at 8:00 pm and the show starts at 9:00 pm both nights. Tickets are C$50 plus taxes and fees, listed at C$53.45 CAD.
